The Feilding and District Art Society are seeking submissions for the 2024 Arts Collective cash and carry exhibition. The Arts Collective is a members’ only show in which works are sold on a cash and carry basis, giving our visitors the opportunity to buy some last-minute Christmas presents, or a treat for the New Year.
This year the Exhibition will be promoted with a SALE on the 7th of December.

Key Dates:
Friday the 29th of November, 4pm: Deadline for the submission of entry forms and delivery of artwork.
Saturday December 7th, 10 – 4pm: XMAS ART SALE at the Feilding Art Centre
Sunday December 15th 5pm: Our FADAS Christmas celebration – a Christmas dinner prepared for our members, by our board and dedicated volunteers.
Friday January 10th 2025 at 4pm: All unsold works must be collected from Feilding Art Centre. Contact the Art centre if your work is to be couriered.
Key Criteria
There is no charge to submit work, but you must be a member of the Feilding and District Art Society.
Entries are limited to 5 pieces per artist, these may not all be displayed at the beginning as they may be used to replace sold items. You are welcome to bring in more items as your work sells.
Each artwork must be for sale and priced at $300 or less.

Full Terms and Conditions
· It is free to enter the Arts Collective exhibition, but membership must be current for the 2024/25 financial year. Artists can pay for their membership subscriptions at Feilding Art Centre or purchase online at www.feildingartsocietycom.
· The deadline for entry and artwork delivery is 4pm, Friday the 29th of November . Entries may be completed online or in person. No late entries will be accepted.
· Work must be delivered to Feilding Art Centre, 104 Manchester Street and must remain on display at Feilding Art Centre for the duration of the exhibition, or until sold.
· Each item must be clearly labelled with: Artist’s Name, Title, Medium and Price.
· Works must be presented ready for display: framed and canvas works must be strung with D-rings and cord. Three-dimensional works must be suitable for display on a plinth. If a stand is required for display, this must be provided by the artist.
· All work must be wholly original and adhere to copyright laws - Where an artist has used another work as reference, the source must be cited. Works produced in a class or workshop are not permitted.
· Whilst all reasonable care will be taken of exhibits, it is the responsibility of the artist to insure their work. The Feilding and District Art Society takes no responsibility for damaged artwork.
· Commission of 30% will be charged on all sales. Works entered are to be sold exclusively through Feilding Art Centre.
· Payment for sold works will be made to the artist no later the 20th of February.
· If a work is sold on layby, the artist will receive payment on the 20th of the month after the artwork is paid for in full. The artwork will remain on site at Feilding Art Centre until full payment is received.
· It is the artist’s responsibility to ensure they meet all tax obligations for income they receive from sales.
· Works not sold must be collected between 4 and 5pm on January 10th, 2025.
· The Feilding and District Art Society reserves the right to exclude from display any artwork not compliant with terms and conditions or considered unsuitable for display, at our sole discretion.
